2010-12-17 18:30:00 | Hey guys and after your help, again. My ASUS laptop has a SD drive, on it. Just bought a replacement camera, with this card. When I plug in it looks and can't find driver. It says it's a Richo Bay1controller. Spent last night and again this morning looking for it. There seems heaps but I can't find one that I don't have to pay for and don't have a credit card. Hope you know where I can find it? Thanks, Ian.

2010-12-17 18:54:00 | I "think" I found the right driver Appears to be also used by the Asus M6A Notebook. Go here: support.asus.com In the selection menu, you need to select the following: Product: Notebook Series: M6000 Model: M6A Click "Search" then it will ask you for OS. Select XP You will then get a page open up with a whole bunch of drivers. Near the bottom, select "Others" And you will see this: Version R5C8xx_V20 support.asus.com Description RICOH card reader driver RICOH card reader driver for Win2000/XP This is without knowing what OS you use. And without knowing the correct revision of the card reader. Even if not XP, try it and see if it works

2010-12-17 21:13:00 | Did you put a SD memory card in the reader, before you opened it? Does it have XP on it, or something else? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-12-17 21:22:00 | I need to know exactly what laptop model you have please. I assume it is the Z8100 mentioned in previous posts, but exactly which model in that family of laptops? Use this image as a guide to how to find model number: support.asus.com You likely have a wrong driver (me bad for guessing) Then go back to that page I linked before and select: Notebook Z8100 <Model Number here> Select XP and then click on "Other"

2010-12-17 22:34:00 | Must be Z8100 not ZB. Theres nothing in google with ZB or the ASUS site Just go back to the same site I gave you previously. Like I said before Z8100 is the series not the model. There must be a letter after Z81. Or delete the drivers / uninstall them if its in add/remove programs. Then go to device manager / driver tab / update driver. But if it says its working in device manager, then it should be working. Or its dead
