| 1116172 | 2010-09-23 07:48:00 | Bloody awesome show, afterparty wasn't bad. The 'pre-party' as it was called absolutely sucked though. I've been to funerals that were more fun. Ended up spending so much that my card declined at the bedford. Not cool. But got a sweet shirt out of it. IIRC they played the day that never comes last night. Quite a few goodies; enter sandman, nothing else matters, but no fuel or whiskey in the jar. They finished with Seek and Destroy, with the house lights on, bloody awesome. I'll upload some (crappy) pics in a sec. Lasers were pretty cool, some nice pyrotechnics too. Personally I think I had some of the best seats in the house (right behind the railing). Attached pics are from the first support act... IIRC. I'm going off of the timestamps lol. |

| 1116175 | 2010-09-23 08:06:00 | Old Metallica was epic stuff coming to a head in the Black album. Anything after that I personally think is rubbish apart from a few isolated tracks. How much old stuff did they play Wrat? The Black album is a travesty of weak radio friendly pop-metal. I was shattered the day in came out, I still went to see them when they toured that album in 91/92 but more out of what they once were rather then what they represented at the time. Walked out on the third song when they played the bigdayout a few years back. |
