Though you see bidders asking for a buy now from sellers during an auction. I can't recall if the seller can sell, if no bids are placed and a reserve exists.
I'm sure some sellers sell for "selling sake" rather than making money - i.e they just want to observe out of interest. If so why not sell cheap or bother? Clothing is an example - where too many listings are cluttering up trademe (and a pain to bookmark or scroll through dozens). Often postage is similar or slightly higher to any real profit made for those sellers... |
