| 1163861 | 2010-12-21 10:04:00 | hello i have a axper mobo p4vm533 two days ago i added a cd drive to the computer and then all of a sudden the screen resolution started changing byitself and then bam it kept ressetting and now when i push power button all fans are spinning but nothing happening. ive tried to pullout batterie and power plug for ten minutes no joy ive tried to put hard drive and graphics card in another case no joy... thank you for reading any help would be great |

| 1163864 | 2010-12-21 10:29:00 | According to the website for that motherboard, it appears to be 2004 vintage, at that age I would suspect power supply and/or motherboard has died (probably because of bad/burst capacitors www.badcaps.net ). Try another PSU. It is possible to repair but you need to consider the time and effort (and financial) aspects, against replacing the comp with a new one. |
