No kidding, for a modest investment (probably less than the price of new helicopters) we could take our place on the world stage as a power in our own right. Hell, we could even take over Australia, though what we'd do with all the snakes and other nasties I don't know, nobody would want to take their politicians, referees, rugby, league and cricket cheats off our hands, and their whining would drive us insane.

Glory and a place on the World Stage awaits us, Afghanistan beware!

Not sure if we could get aircraft carriers and battleships though, that's a big ask, but then who needs them when you can have a massive airforce and a whole stack of guided missiles.

Cheers

1116657 2010-07-06 22:55:00 I'm sure that if we tried to invade Australia, they'd soon notice that nothing fired anything, or did much at all without people carrying it... ubergeek85 (131)

1116660 2010-07-07 00:40:00 We have quite a few wood carvers in our vicinity and heaps of trees. I'll get them making a few missiles. Sweep (90)
1116661 2010-07-07 00:48:00 Didn't our cops try something similar once - cardboard cutouts of patrol cars on the side of the roads to keep the speedsters under control? :groan: WalOne (4202)

They are still doing it in Australia apparently. Not sure if it ever happened in NZ.
