| 1115706 | 2010-07-04 04:10:00 | I object to the deletion of this thread until there is more information on why the "Please Delete Thread" thread was created in the first place. :devil If we just delete threads on someone's say so, with getting to the reason, then where would we be? :confused: For instance, I would endorse that the "Word Association Game!!!" thread be deleted, since it serves no purpose (now) other than than to artificially boost the post counts of certain members who believe that a high post count is somehow indicative of wisdom, when actually the reverse is true (in this instance - apologies to Speedy and Wainuitech and others who have actually earned their post counts). :D However there may be some members who enjoy doing nothing useful with their time, so perhaps the "Word Association Game!!!" thread serves some purpose after all (and the utility of said thread is subjective). EDIT: It is a small source of embarrassment to me that even though I have not posted in that thread for some time, I am still in the top 20 posters!!! :o |
