My ex SA boss told me it's so peaceful - Auckland (Howick) is luxury - no sleeping with a gun, no barbered wire fence, no worrying his kids disappearing when shopping... Yet my own family members and other NZ's from BOP and up North moan about Auckland. Are they and similar not so lucky? |

| 1117576 | 2010-07-11 21:36:00 | Try Avondale market on Sunday for mega cheep vegies. My winter growing attempts over the years have been dismal, my cabbages could be mistaken for brussel sprouts. Caulis sometimes not so bad but get black stuff on them so feed them to the chookz. Funny because it Summer the garden goes nuts very bountiful like a Yates garden book cover. As far as fishing goes I catch some of my own my wife estimates that the fish we have caught and the money spent on boat our snappers are coming down in value to about $800 each. I find that Sunday markets quite often are not able to match the prices offered in New World and alike. |
