1164978 2010-12-27 08:33:00 Blimey -- Running server software as desktop -:xmouth:

looking at the comments, I would say its a Software problem.
and i forget to say, when i dont play on net, just play nfs or cysis ist dont restart if it were hardware then it would BSOD all the time, not just on the Internet.

As feersumendjinn asked -- have you been deleting programs/ Files ? Theres way to many files missing, some of which are quite important.

1164979 2010-12-27 08:49:00 Depending on how far back the missing system files go, your computer may have become too unstable to restore the current install back to a working state. This will mean a clean install.

Good thing about a clean install is everything will be running nice and quick and the BSOD should go.

1164981 2010-12-27 20:13:00 maybe i am stupid but can it be because of skype? Dzunglas (16150)
1164982 2010-12-27 20:57:00 Re Zonealarm, I was asking because if you had it I was going to say uninstall it -- the Firewall may have been blocking or damaged.

Suggestion: uninstall Zonealarm, reboot and install MSSE (www.microsoft.com) - its free, and the better of the free antivirus software, if you want an even better one, use Nod32 - not free though.

maybe i am stupid but can it be because of skype? Not stupid at all, if you dont ask you wont learn.
Doubt it has anything to do with skype. Having a lot of missing system files will make any OS unstable.

Are you still having problems with the BSOD after the reinstall ?

1164983 2010-12-27 21:07:00 Hang on.

Dzunglas (16150)
1164986 2010-12-28 00:49:00 Are these legal/ legit copies of XP or Server 2003 CD's , or ones downloaded from somewhere and burnt to CD/DVD.?

When you get the error STOP 0x0000003b there will be some wording after it, normally in upper case, -- something like ( Example) DRIVER_LEFT_LOCKED_PAGES_IN_PROCESS

What does the wording on yours say (exactly) and is it the same ks.sys file.
wainuitech (129)
1164987 2010-12-28 08:21:00 i using same xp as my buddies, and they dont have this problem.
ks.sys -address FFFFFADAFC8D8E58D BASE AT FFFFFADFC8D6C000, DATESTAM45d69a84
