| 1164646 | 2010-12-25 23:55:00 | Hi Chilling Science, Thanks for the reply. Accton seem to be hard to get (nothing in TradeMe and known retailers such as Dick Smith etc). I can get my hands on a Linksys AM300 and I am wondering if I could install the DD-WRT on it, in which case all I would need to buy is a wireless access point to it (It would be the cheapest option). What do you think? Cheers. |

| 1164647 | 2010-12-26 08:03:00 | The AM300 is an ADSL Router. You want a Wireless Access Point (WAP). DD-WRT won't install on anything that has "ADSL". See: www.dd-wrt.com You want either the WRT54GL, or something like this: www.trademe.co.nz |
