1117469 2010-07-11 06:01:00 Canned laughter does not explode in the microwave. DVD's in a microwave would please TV viewers better than a horde of chimps laughing, a sound to be played over many hours of TV. The Error Guy (14052)
1117470 2010-07-11 06:27:00 It was around about 50 years between the invention of the can to the invention of the can opener, Before then they used axes, stones, small children, whatever!! I hate some Can openers and I hate the way the good ones can cost as much as $40. So I live by the good ole opener I won in a xmas Cracker

We have several can openers in this household (some expensive), but the only one to reliably work every time, is the one on my Swiss Army Knife.

1117472 2010-07-12 06:15:00 I think I should be worried about that. Surprised a bit to find I'm not the only one with issues prising DVD's out of their cases The Error Guy (14052)

1117476 2010-07-12 23:16:00 While also on this subject... am I the only one to struggle with can openers? We've got 4 in the house ranging from cheap metal thing through to electric... and none of them will hang onto the rim and maintain traction. Almost get to the point of chucking each can out the window in frustration... if it wasn't for the fact I'd be the one picking up the mess afterwards.

I always had trouble with the cheap metal canopeners.
Then I realised I should grip the canopener firmly rather than just lightly.
Since then the cans open much easier!

1117477 2010-07-12 23:39:00 I find the cheap ones easier to use than the fancy ones Greven (91)
