| 1165110 | 2010-12-27 19:50:00 | Don't buy the new CX430! www.badcaps.net So in case you don't know someone pulled a CX430 off the shelf and did a technical analysis and showed that it is a massive piece of garbage. |

| 1165111 | 2010-12-27 20:12:00 | I have happily bought a few VX450's in the past. Is the CX430 a replacement or an 'as well as'? | linw (53) | ||
| 1165112 | 2010-12-28 01:49:00 | I have happily bought a few VX450's in the past. Is the CX430 a replacement or an 'as well as'? It's "as well as". While they won't market it as such (for obvious reasons), it's been introduced as their "super cheapo please give this away when you sell pre-built computers so people see our name on more PSUs" model. Note also that it comes with a 2-year warranty, where their AX, VX and HX series come with a 5- or 7-year warranty. They know it's cheap. It's intended as such. It's a dumb move, though, as it may cheapen the brand in the eyes of those that don't know better. |
