| 1164998 | 2010-12-27 05:43:00 | Hi there, Have just purchased a Sony Memory Stick Handycam. I have installed the Sony software, and copied the videos from the camera to my computer with no problems. The videos play flawlessly using the crappy Sony software, but when I open them using any other media player or editing program (and I have a few!) the videos are playing terribly! Lagging, jumping from one frame to another etc... Is there another driver, codec etc I need to download? Video format is SD MPEG2. Running XP. Many thanks in advance! |

| 1165000 | 2010-12-27 07:08:00 | Try using VLC Media Player which can be downloaded from here. I have used with my Sony Camcorder and it works well http://www.videolan.org/ | smurf (6545) | ||
