1164928 2010-12-26 21:47:00 Hey all, i have just bought a new computer and it has a 500 Gb HDD, it has been partitioned into 3 C:/ has the OS, and installed programs, etc and it also has a D:/ & E:/. I want to keep the C: Partition seperate, but how do i combine the D & E Partition?

And also how do I change the location of the My Document folders etc, so the it save everything to the New Partiotin not the C: Drive.

Thanks

1164930 2010-12-26 22:36:00 Try this (www.w7forums.com) for changing your My Documents folder location.

As for combining partitions unless Windows 7 has the option you'll probably have to delete the E partition then expand the D partition. You should be able to do this in Computer Management/Disk Management section.
