1164576 2010-12-24 10:34:00 I am using Adobe Lighroom, I open the image that is JPEG, I then right click and edit in Photoshop. I do all I have to and save my file to the same folder and it says:

You don't have permission to save in this location

This folder is on my E: (2nd HDD) on a folder I made myself.

Now what?
It also appears all or most of folders seems to be read only. Right click folder - properties. I untick but it never goes away.

I have another folder called RAW and I can edit in PS and save in the same folder but not this folder I am dealing with film scans. I create the folder and then copy the files manually over and ask Lightroom to resync the folder. That's ok. But I cannot edit in PS and save in the same folder. Tried the following. I can save it elsewhere but Lightroom won't let me import this back to that directory.

I am the Administrator. Win7 x64.

1164577 2010-12-24 18:20:00 Odd . I fixed it . I have admin right access with everything except that special permissions thing . I gave myself full control .

I dunno eh . . cos the thing is it's a folder I created myself, software cannot access it (import) and software cannot save into it . But I can use Windows Explorer to copy it there and then use the software just to sync .

Odd .
