1117004 2010-07-07 22:16:00 Which reader do we prefer? Cicero (40)
1117005 2010-07-07 22:22:00 Foxit or Nitro.

Only problem I have found with Nitro, is it doesn't show some graphics.

1117006 2010-07-07 22:22:00 Foxit is pretty nice, although it does seem to crash quite often - there's also a portable version available, which is very handy.

To be honest, I just use Acrobat Reader 9.3.3 - since v9 or thereabouts, it's actually become a very quick app, compared to older versions.

Still a very large install though :xmouth:

1117010 2010-07-07 23:03:00 I used Foxit for a while but now prefer Nitro. Naturally both are better than Acrobat anyhow. Snorkbox (15764)
1117011 2010-07-07 23:32:00 I've recently changed from Foxit to PDF-Xchange Viewer.
I make great use of its Export to Image function.

1117013 2010-07-08 01:03:00 I also use Foxit as my default PDF reader, although I have Acrobat installed also.

Small problem I found with Foxit last night - I printed a docx that had a URL embedded in it to Adobe PDF (creating the PDF using Adobe), opened the resulting file in Foxit and clicked on the link. For some reason, Foxit also picked up all the text following the link as part of the URL and failed to open the URL.

The same file opened in Acrobat (not reader) opened the link without a problem.
