| 1458955 | 2019-03-14 07:28:00 | We need to replace the old shower mixer . Any recommendations for a good mixer? Not too expensive, please. A 'friend' says 'Hansa' brand is good, but it is not cheap. A good and trustworthy plumber to go with will be great! We live in East Auckland. Thanks. |

I know I fixed their machines especially the Swiss brass casting machine for 15 years. |

Yes, yes. However it's still a well made product. Husband has installed many mixers, shower, kitchen, whatever and still likes Methven and hates a lot of the junk you get in the chain stores cheap. We bought Methven here - bathroom shower and kitchen mixer, yes more than I could have paid, but she already had crap. |

Remember the old adage ' You get what you pay for', so don't buy on price alone. And be sure you buy the right mixer, equal hot and cold pressure (mains pressure) or unequal pressure ( cylinder with Ajax/Nefa valve) | Richard (739) | ||

I have(had) Greens all through the house when we built it, but the ceramic washer on one of the taps failed (very unusual) and they couldn't replace it because they weren't using them anymore because they couldn't afford to get them certified in Australia (or some such bo****ks.) |
