| 1455910 | 2018-11-24 07:40:00 | My Win 10 64bit laptop only handles USB2. I have a Toshiba 8GB USB In the last few days it has "gone haywire". It said no files (yet it had heaps). I reformatted it and copied the files back to it. Ok for a while then same "folder empty" message. Today I cannot even format this USB. I scan it with 360 total Security -says no problems detected. Is it a case of scrap this USB or is there a free "fix USB" programme? |

If so try another one and scrap the current version. They are cheap enough that there is little point in perservering with one that is playing up. |

| 1455912 | 2018-11-25 01:06:00 | Cheers CliveM . I thought as much and had already set up another USB Flash Drive. I just thought I should not assume in case someone with more Tech skills than me would know of a repair method/programme. |
