Isnt it just stupidity to ever assume 3G 4G 5G is ever a secure medium ? So why would it matter . We still buy a high % of Chinese made phones , double standards ? It's not the spying that's the concern it's ability of China being able to come thru a back door and shut the network down if NZ doesn't agree with something China does like a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. They're already saber rattling about that possibility. |

Or that one of their businesses doesn't get the deal they wanted? China is a bully and is using its economic might to sway other countries. You obviously haven't been paying much attention to Americas tactics lately their just the same. |

I never commented on the US but that is not to say I am unaware of some of their tactics. I haven't commented on other countries either. Does that mean I think they are all friendly? China is an emerging powerhouse, America is on on the decline. Which is the more dangerous? |
