| 1456484 | 2018-12-12 23:25:00 | With the computer you are having the problems with check what IP Address the routers giving, the default gateway should be the same on all the computers, only the last set of Numbers in the IP address will be different. As its already been advised, try a static IP. Well that was fun. :D -- The Problem I just went to sort -- SPARK in their Wisdom  (I'm being sarcastic BTW) Had installed new Cisco modem/Router with Fibre. Anyone who connected via Ethernet cables could see the LAN, Servers, Printers and all shared devices perfectly fine, But on Wireless, Nothing could be found. Couldn't ping the address (all known) All previous shared folders / Locations, same "Windows cannot access XXXXX" Error  What Spark Had done was setup the wireless on a different IP Range. I know the reasoning behind it, but it was a WTF Moment when I discovered it :waughh::waughh: They are also using a different IP range now in the LANS -- What fun, The router default is 172.19.1.1 (that's no typo either) Back on Topic: If the IP is correct, I do vaguely remember a while back a similar problem, the earlier comment the problematic machines needs a password to log in to Windows, I cant remember if it was signing into a email account or just a local account, ( it was a while back cant recall the fix - it was something stupid) BUT as a test you can remove the password requirements and change it back to a local account with no password if using an email account. |
