NOTE: If you allready have this enabled don't worry, skip this step. if you want to undo the changes follow step 1 but check the don't show hidden folders button.

1. Open my computer press alt and select tools > folder options. Then select the "View" Tab. Find the option regarding "Hidden files and folders" and select the radio button that says "show hidden files, filders and drives" click apply.

2. Go to users > .AppData > Local > Google > Chrome > User Data > Default > Extensions

3. Now there should be some folders with with names such as "h4f4jienguh34fi34mwuhb4ure" so you open one by one to see if there is a file called "manifest.json". this can take a while if you have lots of extenstions

4. Open the manifest.json with notepad and remove the line which starts with " theme frame" the whole line that is, not just theme frame.

5. Save the file (overwrite the existing manifest file)

6. Create a folder on your desktop or where ever you want, and put ALL the contents of the folder where you edited the file earlier (eg th48fj54r3uf3ifi)

7. Open Chrome > Wrench Icon > Extensions > Expand the "Developer Mode" (upper right corner) and choose "Pack Extension" select the "extension root directory" select the folder which you created before (you don't need to put anything in private key)

8. Now, it created a file (basically two files, just delete the *.pem file and drag'n' drop the other file (which is a *.crx file) to the Extensions Window of the Chrome.

9. Now chrome should have aero enabled. you can undo the hidden folders option and delete the desktop folder if you wish!
