Hi guys, after recovering from a false start yesterday, Voting is now OPEN and will continue over the weekend until the voting booth closes Monday 19th July, 2010 at 10:23 am NZST (20100719102300 for the pedants out there). This was the result of gross negligence by the Chief Scrutineer, who didn’t know how to make the Polling program work. Accordingly, the Chief Scrutineer has been removed from office.

Remember, you also need to cast your vote in another Category, the MOST favoured candidate.

Most of these nominations have been made without the awareness and consent of the candidates, and it would be surprising if any would accept the results anyway.

The rule is, one vote in each category per User. The Chief Returning Officer’s (moi) word is final and the only correspondence that will be entered into will be on receipt by the CRO of an appropriate bribe. The CRO will also be the final arbiter of the appropriateness of the bribe.

Good luck to our candidates!

1119226 2010-07-16 00:20:00 I wanted to vote for Sue, But went with Hone.

Sure if Sue was in charge we would suffer, it would mess the place up,but we could get rid of her and repair the damage.

If Hone was in charge it would bring war, and if not war then deep division and a hostile climate that would breed violence and resentment, people would move to Aussie in even larger numbers and NZ would stumble badly (Fiji but worse), the damage would take a few generations to fix and would require the right people in the right jobs to pull it off.(but those people would be settled in Aus, bringing up their children in a good enviousness ,NZ would be a distant memory)

1119227 2010-07-16 00:59:00 Peter Bethune is a hero in my books Whales cant fight back humans need to help them survive in Antarctica. The Japs can be cruel people we saw it in their treatment of POWs.
Although he is a bit of a coward for pleading guilty is that the reason for putting him on the list?
I would vote for Philip Alpers of gun control infamy he is the most dangerous person in NZ for trying to meddle with gun ownership rights.

1119230 2010-07-16 06:23:00 Yeah it was pretty tough choice between Hone and Sue. We need an option:
"I'd leave the country before any of them got too near, it's bad enough they're in parliament as it is"
