| 1119411 | 2010-07-19 04:05:00 | Things have moved on for the maoris since Bastion Point, what the maoris want now they generally get. I was on the maoris side for the Bastion Point saga. The crown confiscated the land from the maoris for war appropriation, didnt use it, then went to sell it. The land is supposed to be offered back to the original owners. Aussie doctors can work here only thing stopping them was NZ doctors pissed because they would be losing overtime pay. The biggest problem was Piggy he got involved. |

What is more corrupt than stealing public money, that isnt long ago :D Refusing Dialysis:even if available, isnt that effectivly euthanasia (they refused to allow Aus doctors over to treat him). |

Personally came across a few Otago trained dentists I visited and they did more harm /damages than general clean up of my teeth! Some overseas trained doctors /dentists are excellent - they are as good as any locally trained, if not better. |

Saying that it has a large number of poor people who have no voice is a cop-out because they are still represented on the political scene (some would say even over-represented) |

Yes, it's because it copies the western model of democracy and that's why the nation never (not exactly, but very slow pace) progress. India got its independence in 1947 and PRC was formed in 1949, these 2 nations are quite similar in many ways - population, size, civilisation etc. Now, look at the 2 nations' developments - which system is better? |
