"The company, originally founded in 1896 by James Henry Whittaker in Christchurch moved to Wellington in 1913 and then to a larger factory site in Porirua in 1969." www.pcc.govt.nz Whittakers have just told me that they've never had a factory in Wanganui and that the above statement is correct. It must have been another brand. |

Mind you I was born in Wellington and was there also from about 1952 until 1960. |

| 1120279 | 2010-07-20 00:30:00 | What really annoys me about Cadbury's Dairy Milk is that for 50 years or more it has always been the same. Now every time I buy some it is different. Ive been noticing changes/inconsistancies for the last 15+ years :illogical The Aus dairy milk allways used to taste more chocy a few years back. Was hard to get thou. The new (AUS)dairy milk in the new wrapper tastes far better than the recent NZ dairy milk-now extinct. Lately I dont think it should even be called chocolate, just psudo choc as it has so little choc in it (The french have a regulations about what % needed to call it choc) Cadbury is really just sugar, thats why so many prefer it. A bit like instant coffee with 2 sugars not tasting like real coffee :punk |
