1119646 2010-07-17 11:41:00 Family Guy
Dr Who

Thats pretty much it.

As for crap no longer on TV

The Young Ones
The New Statesman
Bottom

The bossy cow in Dr Who spoils this series for me.I know she has nice legs,but....

She should be the doctor, also his sonic screw driver seems to play to big a part.

I'm liking generation kill so far. doubt you'll be able to get hold of it though. don't know if its to your liking but band of brothers and the pacific are quite good

Seen all three, all very good, The Pacific was my least favourite of the lot.

Fringe. Lost. 24.....OK-ish. Chuck's pretty good.

Man Lost was kickass.

Haven't watched fringe, 24 got a bit too repeditive - thought lost was bloody awful gave up half way through the second season. :D love Chuck, seen all of them.

What's wrong with Top Gear? :p
I'm a top gear addtict and have watch the whole lot at least twice.

OH! Man Vs Wild is (almost) always good.
Seen all of them too, good for a laugh. :p

Try Eureka and Sanctuary.

Also IT Crowd Series 4 is showing the UK at present.
Will check out those two - watching the new season of IT Crowd at the moment too.

Try:

The Benny Hill Show
Monty Python's Flying Circus
The Kenny Everett Video Show
Spike Milligans Q
The Young Ones
Fawlty Towers
Last of the Summer Wine
Dad's Army
Are You Being Served
The Two Ronnies

1119650 2010-07-17 14:09:00 The new season of top gear is quite nice (s15), in 720p it's stunning!

The IT crowd is good, haven't gotten round to watching all of s3 yet, or any of the new s4.

+1 for breaking bad! s3 finished recently in the US, haven't had a whiff of it here yet though. You really need to watch it from the very beginning though.

1119651 2010-07-17 14:27:00 I suppose you could start with the first episode of Coronation Street and work on from there. You might need a bit more storage space though. Snorkbox (15764)

I don't know about modern comedy, but I just watched a few clips of Benny Hill on youtube and I must say stupidity is only funny for so long...
