1120050 2010-07-19 07:02:00 Not as long as you'd think.
Mine took 2 months for the nerve to die, it required self surgery to remove pus a few times since but hey, it's still there and cost me nothing.

Multiply that by 12, and spread it over a decade and you would be closer.

1120051 2010-07-19 07:05:00 And how much do you think that is going to cost? Falsies dentists charge like a wounded bull too, and they don't last forever either. ;)

At the same time,Metla could be quite becoming in falsie's.

About 4 grand, depending on how many teeth have to be extracted, Its about $100 a tooth to yank em so hopefully most will be gone, But then again I have quite a few snapped off at the gum.

Which is just a drop in the ocean compared top what my brothers have spent trying to retain their teeth.

Anyhow, Will only need to get the top done, all the lower ones seem alright.

1120053 2010-07-19 07:35:00 Yes and we pay for most of their training so that they can then overcharge us !

Builders train their own aprentices.

Start yanking them out now yourself then, before they all snap off. It costs heaps more to dig them out. :xmouth: :p

No wonder Cicero, was it done in a nice cheesy sauce? You want to try getting a Cray up here. They cost a small fortune for one the size of a rat, which we would have thrown back a few years ago. Does your dentist run a sort of a restaurant on the side? Good business. I expect he serves a lot of things for your "sweet tooth" as well. Just the drill for a dentist to give you a filing meal. :)

1120057 2010-07-20 01:05:00 I have found my new dentist in Rangiora.

Next door neighbour paid $120 for xrays and a filling and then another filling $100,so you see I was ripped off.

Great. Is that the one in McBrearty's Building (sp) in High St near the Junction? If so, that is where I used to go as a high school kid.
