Besides that I dont really watch tv much.

It started this week.

One of my faves. at the mo. is Gavin & Stacey but may be lost on a NZ audience.

I agree, someone who has seen it will probably resort to extremely rude language and frequent vomiting.
It is not really all that funny to put childish exhibitionist morons up on tv and invite people to stare at them. Possibly it is less harmful to have them on tv than to have them in parliament, and cheaper than putting them in an appropriate institution.
Also, it makes the commercials more likely to be watched for the greater sincerity and depth of plot.
