The whole territory/area has been in dispute since time immemorial . The Israelis are just the latest to dominate the area . They have no more claim to the area than they do labelling themselves as "Gods chosen people" . Yes . I have right of residence to, as I am unfit for military service, and I practice no religon, there is no real point in living there, Its a diffiult language to master as well . Have had a difficult life since 1948 because they continue to allow themselves to be used by the revolving lunatic fringe of islam, in particular currently IRAN . It took egypt and jordan 3 major defeats 48 67 73 to realise that israel was back in jewish hands for good, and a little longer to come to terms with that . There is peace and growing trade between those three nations . Egypt annexed the gaza strip in 1950 app, they lost it in 67, they dont want it and the palestianians back . Very simular deal with the west bank annexed by jordan at around the same time, jordan expelled the palistians later . I look at all the money that is poured into Palestine and look what you see accomplished,like the Maoris,not a lot . Yes I know the Israelis get more,but lots of that goes on defence . He was not happy . where are the schools and hospitials I gave you money to build? They were destroyed by the isralies was the answer after a great period of silence . Then where are the ruins asked Gadaffi . There was another great period of silence . Gadaffi returned to libyia, he commented to his aid minister, the palistian leaders have fine clothers and furniture in their large houses, they, and their sons all drive fine Mercedes cars . There are no new schools or hospital, the children are still playing in the gutters with no shoes . send nothing more . Israel is a dangerous place for numerous reasons not to mention the extremist Jews who would do to the Arabs what the Arabs would like to do to Israel... I heartily agree with the rest. Israel is really well developed and altho the Jewsih people/Hebrews/whatever claim to be the original inhabitants, this is not testable so I take it with a grain of salt. From my viewpoint of how countries are colonised etc, being the 'original inhabitants' doesn't seem to count for much.	sir fer (15893)
