| 1166184 | 2011-01-01 09:20:00 | Hi, I am on the road ... I have at times used a Vodafone simcard (in a phone) teethered to my laptop - the 10MB/day. It barely last for 15mins doing basic stuff like pop clear just the header (Mailwasher), Metservice, news .... I am now in a motel which they give me 50MB (Zenbu) but it last so much longer. Only used 7MB and been online for like 2hr. What gives? Firefox and Windows Updates is not set to download or even advise me if there are any new ones available. |

If this is what is causing the difference, then you need to me sure you're not hosting any file sharing apps or malware. |
