1165581 2010-12-29 23:28:00 Hey guys, I'm looking to overclock my HD 4890, but I have NO clue how.
If you guys could tell me how to do it, that would be great.
I know I'll need to post some info back here, but I don't know what that info is, just tell me what you need.
Thanks.

Post your full system specs (especially PSU wattage and brand) and the guys here will be able to suggest some stable clocks... although stock cooled you won't get too much more out of it without having it go too hot.

Have you considered a second card or a newer card?

If you need help overclocking then maybe you shouldn't?

Why are you wanting to overclock your GPU anyways.

1165585 2010-12-30 00:43:00 I wouldn't... with a no-name 420W PSU I'm not sure it's worth the effort. inphinity (7274)

Choice of tools/methods.

ATIs own catalyst will do it, just do it in little bits and check stability with something like 3D Mark first, go too high too soon and you'll cause crashes and stuff. Little bits until you see how high you can go without problems.

Your card is fine. I would however, change the PSU next.
