1120306 2010-07-19 08:32:00 Does anyone have that CSS Erayd (or was it someone else?) made to block out ads?
Google is being a ***** and not giving me good results. :(
Thanks :)

1120307 2010-07-19 08:42:00 Don't know if it's the latest version but this is my one.

/*remove ads and misc branding clutter, clean up layout */
table[bgcolor="#DF0026"], /*red banner at top of page*/
#navigation, /*grey fairfax navbar at top*/
td[width="165"], /*left ads*/
div[style="margin:0 0 5px 0"], /*top ads*/
#sponsor_div, /*bottom ads*/
div[style="width:302px; float:left; margin-right:10px; border:1px solid #cccccc; padding:5px; "], /*more bottom ads*/
#adSpace2, /*even more bottom ads*/
#fscroller
{display: none;}

/*fix damaged alignment in forum thread list & forum header*/
/*td[align="center"] {text-align: left;}*/

This (www.pressf1.co.nz) might be the latest one?

I think the one I linked to might be the latest as Erayd's last post in that thread was made on 11-02-2010 .

There are also instructions on how to use in that thread .

1120311 2010-07-19 09:02:00 I have a complete abhorrence for ads of any sort, and I'm yet to meet anything that gets past my 3 friends Firefox, Adblocker +, and Adblocker + Element Hiding Helper. :cool: nofam (9009)

1120314 2010-09-23 06:10:00 For some unknown reason the ads are back on my PF1, after months of nothing. Reinstalling the script via stylish did not do anything. Anybody else have similar problems lately?

1120315 2010-09-23 07:18:00 I just use Chrome and put up with the Ads, it's not that bad :)

Either that, or browse from your Cellphone, it's *insanely* fast!
