I do recall I thread we had a few weeks ago where some fool here was trying to claim that China was a free country and that those of us calling them a bunch of 'commies' where asleep and told to 'keep dreaming'. Well.. yea - facts speak for themselves. |

I think China is far more obvious with propaganda and controlling the media etc. Here in the West organisations simply "buy" the mainstream media and manipulate internally. China is hardly the only country infringing on Human rights, many pointing the finger need to look in the mirror. |

With freedom comes responsibility - which most people conveniently forget about, because it's not a natural ability . Most people fall into the "WIIFMATHWTOG" (What's In It For Me, And To Hell With The Other Guy) camp . But I think the issue is in identifying the types of restrictions that are appropriate . |
