| 1166779 | 2011-01-03 22:50:00 | Hi PJ: Start > Run > "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks) Enter Click "No" and continue. You should then see a screen similar to this: www.stata.com Under Operating System, it will specify whether your current OS is 32 or 64 bit. |

| 1166780 | 2011-01-03 22:51:00 | AFAIK there is no XP SP3 for 64 bit only 32 As explained here (social.answers.microsoft.com) from Microsoft's answer site. Run windows updates manually, what ever is available it will allow you to download it. |

| 1166782 | 2011-01-04 07:37:00 | OK. Did the research & NO 64 bit. Says x86, which is 32 bit, right, Pity as the motherboard & processer ar both 64 bit dual. PJ | Poppa John (284) | ||
| 1166783 | 2011-01-04 07:58:00 | Correct XP SP3 is 32 bit. There is a version of XP Pro x64 but its only up to SP2. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
