:)

I think so, as I have heard what seemed like a private chat at around 120 MHZ. The receiver has a label on band 6 titled:

Air Craft: 108 MHz to 140_____________________________
VHF Marine: FM ____________________ 155 163 ____________
L/Mobile/2m.Amateur FM __________________ 145 to 175 MHz

1121168 2010-07-24 01:43:00 Is this (www.radiomuseum.org) it. They were quite common, sold by DSE. My brother had one. It developed a dry solder joint which I fixed up. Don't think it picked up SSB.

1121169 2010-07-25 00:40:00 Very similar - 2959-6. It does not have the top cassette. Where abouts was the joint you fixed? What was the effect of the joint not being soldered on the receiver? Poor reception? I have done a little soldering on alternators rectifiers. kahawai chaser (3545)
