Got my Replacement from a Battery place,Dick Smiths and Jaycar have them also,known as Alarm backup Batteries Got one with more Amps from the Battery place |

| 1120958 | 2010-07-21 23:17:00 | Note that a lot of the cheap UPS do not output a true sine wave, these ones will be called "modified sine wave" In reality, they should be called "modified square wave" because that is more like what they are. A true sine wave UPS is of course the better choice. |

| 1120959 | 2010-07-21 23:21:00 | Do you run your PC continuously? The UPS should be self testing that it can run on the battery every time you turn it on or every 2 weeks or so. I am one of those fuddy duddies who turns the PC off at night. I run a self test every now and again from the control panel, and it is always fine. (Thinks - I have never run a self test on the family PC - exits stage left to do so). Actually, I remember replacing the first battery in the work PC UPS because it was showing signs of failure. I only got three years out of that one before terminal signs began. |
