1121133 2010-07-22 09:08:00 Not to steal your thunder, but I ordered a motherboard from Ascent at 1pm and received it at 3pm the same day! :D jwil1 (65)

Disappointed I must say.

1121135 2010-07-22 11:13:00 I have found them no better or no worse than Ascent I just use whichever of them has the item I want cheaper at the time, I don't really bother using anyone else. Although I find CL's website not so easy to navigate as Ascents

I think Ascent are a more professional outfit. They also have a nice corporate looking office in Wellington.

I wouldn't know haven't been to Wellington for 8 years, prefer the South Island sunshine here in Nelson too much

Well the reception area looks the part, the rest of it behind the back wall could be a pig sty :D

1121138 2010-07-22 20:50:00 Courierpost?
Because when I was way down SOuth I could get stuff next day from Morningstar (who used Courierpost) after ordering the previous afternoon.

The slowest was Castle Parcels.
Sometimes Post Haste would send it via Invercargill, which meant it would get sent back to Dunedin and then back out to me - adding an extra day.

I used to spend a lot of time in my last job tracking parcels from Auckland to Dunedin, and it would often take 2 days for them to get from Te Atatu/Glenfield/all over the show etc to the airport, and then only overnight to be flown down here, processed at the depot, and turn up at work at 7:30. . :D

1121140 2010-07-22 22:22:00 I find ComputerLounge to be faster unless Ascent have the item in stock here in Wellington, otherwise they have to get it sent down from Auckland in which case I have found Computer Lounge to be faster.

@Gary
Odd you should find Ascent's site easier to navigate, never been the biggest fan of their menu's / ordering of items but do love CL's site :)

I used to like c1 computers site, and found it really easy to navigate. Ascents is ok, but a bit dated and doesn't work properly in opera.
