1120979 2010-07-22 06:57:00 It's not free if you're tied to a contract term, Sol.... :)

Yeah, that would cost $800 even with 3 yr contract.....my contract has expired.
I'll say it again....I got a 32Gb iphone for free as they stuffed up a replacement order for a faulty one, they sent 2, when I advised, they said to keep it for being honest!

1120980 2010-07-22 07:15:00 Wow, what a score :D

I'd just want it so I could sell it on TradeMe for a tidy profit and get my wife a Nexus One ;)

1120982 2010-07-22 07:58:00 Yeah, that would help. You are not the first person to also suggest that to us.

I manually use the stopforumspam to look up new registrations but that doesn't catch spammers who register "after hours" and before I've had the chance to check them out. As good as that website is, I have been seeing quite a few new spammers that don't appear on the stopforumspam list too. I still think it is worth looking into. Getting things done around here is a very slow process.

I suggest you go on strike, let the spammers run riot,No doubt the admins wont want to have to clean it up themselves, of course they may also not give a damn if their tech forum is the laughing stock of the entire internet.

iPhone's are great and have brilliant little apps from everyone, but I just struggle with the battery life!

1120987 2010-07-23 02:49:00 Sol, are you aware that the Droid X is a CDMA/EVDO phone only? My understanding is that Telecom are switching off EVDO sometime this year, and CDMA in 2012. The current 3g network standard in NZ is WCDMA, used by both XT and Vodafone. Erayd (23)
1120988 2010-07-23 04:46:00 That feature ensures you will be free of telemarketers. Works like a flat battery but cheaper as you don't have to buy a dummy charger. R2x1 (4628)
