1168710 2011-01-11 01:18:00 I just got a canon vixia hf r10 camcorder...downloaded the software that came with it ( imagemixer)...but when i go to the video management area of the software, in order to actually be able to view the videos i've uploaded...an error comes up and says "the application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way". I've checked for viruses and downloaded some hotbot or hotbit thing from microsoft site...but nothings worked! Any suggestions??
thanks so much.

1168711 2011-01-11 01:41:00 What version of windows is installed? And how does it connect to the computer? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1168712 2011-01-11 01:44:00 What version of windows is installed? And how does it connect to the computer?

I have windows XP. It connects to the computer by a USB cord. The photos upload perfectly using another program (not the software that came with the camcorder), but for some reason the videos wont open and that error comes up everytime. Is it possible to use another program other than the one that came with my camcorder or does it have to be the imagemixer to upload my videos?
Thanks for the response, really appreciate it as im horrible with computers!,

1168713 2011-01-11 01:49:00 Any program may work. Altho, this may depend on the format this camera records in. Do you know what format, it records in?? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1168714 2011-01-11 01:58:00 i think it saves as an mts file... is that what you mean?
its strange, i bought this because the guy at the store said it has a feature where you just convert it from the camcorder right into the format needed to upload directly to the internet..i did the conversion and it said ready to upload to the net, but when i went to upload it i got that error message..

1168717 2011-01-11 02:08:00 Those files are for windows. Right mouse / properties on my computer on the desktop, if its there. Does it say service pack 1, 2 or 3? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1168718 2011-01-11 02:50:00 it says service pack 3 BrooklynsMommy (16168)
1168719 2011-01-11 09:24:00 Umm if it can transfer from the cam to the computer alright. And you've converted it / and youre trying to upload to a site like youtube, try uploading the file/s to youtube (instead of using the program to do it). See if it works Speedy Gonzales (78)
