2011-01-07 02:41:00 | Have tried about 5 program trials but they only record 1 minute or so unless you buy the pro copy. I only want to convert a few files so not worth buying a registered copy. Any suggestions? | Krad (7878) | |
2011-01-07 02:57:00 | you can use audacity by pointing it at the lame enconder dll file. Install the trial program and nick lame.dll or whatever if you can find it, then put it in audacity's main folder (same as the EXE) and then use that.

2011-01-07 07:23:00 | You could also use the freeware SUPER, it will convert virtually any media file to any other format. It's best to get it from a mirror site, NOT the author site which is a pain in the proverbial: www.videohelp.com

2011-01-07 08:37:00 | Hi Krad For this job yah can't beat FORMAT FACTORY (http://format-factory.en.softonic.com/). Easy to use. It's free!! Just don't allow it to install the E-Bay shortcut or the extra toolbars on installation. BURNZEE

2011-01-08 08:58:00 | Goldwave it's what you want, it's similar to audacity but has batch conversion options. It's brilliant! :pf1mobmini:

2011-01-10 22:32:00 | + 1 for Format Factory also has batch conversion :clap Have tried this and Super but they don't work, probably because they can't undo the DRM (as the professional paid programs do). I'll just have to use Audacity or Freecorder and wait the 12 hours to convert to mp3! Thanks for the suggestions.

2011-01-10 22:38:00 | This may do it (www.wondershare.com) but its not free. It can load DRM files. But I dont have any DRM files, to see what it actually does with them | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
