1167809 2011-01-07 00:15:00 Hi, am just wondering if this RAM (DDR-400) would fit in the DELL GX60, according to Google, this is 184 pins so it fits, am just wondering from the PC Guru's! if this is compatible..
Am not that computer savvy with RAM,its just that have this RAM lying around here, 2 times 1 GB. This is what the DELL website says; Memory: 128MB shared non-ECC PC2100 DDR SDRAM standard (DDR266); 2 DIMM slots – 2GB maximum: 128MB DIMM, 256MB DIMM, 512MB DIMM, 1GB DIMM
Anyone help me out?

1167810 2011-01-07 00:32:00 Should do fine. Will just throttle to the highest speed that the motherboard can take. Knowing dell, that'll be pc 2100 speed.
Biff both sticks into it, keep the old one JIC.
And you should be away.
