| 1168550 | 2011-01-10 07:20:00 | I'm installing Windows 7 on my father in law's pc. He has had XP for years and uses Outlook Express (OE) as his mail client. I see that Windows 7 doesn't come with (or support) OE. So I'm going to install Windows Live Mail on his old OS, migrate the OE files to Live mail, then back these files up and restore them when I've installed Windows 7. Anyway, slight problem....the normal process for getting Windows Live Mail is by downloading it. My father in law has dial-up and I don't think it will handle the Windows Live essentials installer very well. Is there a standalone, self-contained install package I can download on my own broadband, which I can take down to him on disk? |
