2010-07-30 00:26:00 | With Vodafone as the carrier - don't you just hate exclusive deals!? www.nbr.co.nz The other issue is blocked content - some titles just can't be sold in NZ due to agreements in place with publishers of dead tree books...

2010-07-30 01:38:00 | I don't care in the slightest. I'd rather have a paper book (doesn't need batteries and you can drop it, pass it through strong electro\magnetic fields, etc etc) If I really do have a strong desire to take 10000+ eBooks around with me I would use a Netbook\Laptop, which can be used as a normal computer as well.

2010-07-30 07:19:00 | Pity it's the small 6" version and not the 9.7" DX model which Amazon won't sell outside the US.. | paulw (1826) | |
2010-07-30 07:25:00 | Never put the words 'small' and '6" ' in the same sentence. As a man, you should be ashamed of yourself! :D

2010-08-01 23:32:00 | With Vodafone as the carrier - don't you just hate exclusive deals!? Why should you care, you won't personally have any relationship with Vodafone, Amazon are just using them. "Kindle ebook downloads via Vodafone's 3G network will be free, said the Amazon rep (or built into the cost of the ebook, depending on your point of view)."

2010-08-02 00:22:00 | I read that later Paul - but can't understand what's in it for Vodafone, apart from maybe a small chunk of revenue when the device is sold to a punter. If there are no ongoing charges to customers, how is VF justifying the business model?
