| 1169873 | 2011-01-15 06:03:00 | Kiaora. I have a Asrock N68-S3 UCC motherboard with a AMD x3 450 unlocked to a quad-core (X4 B50) The software that comes with it states that it runs at 55c idle and mobo at 50c (yeah yeah it's hot). I then installed EVEREST which had trouble detecting my motherboard but showed 46c for CPU temp, as did the program speedfan (45-46). Both those two programs also showed correct mobo temp (50c). Also it's a HOT day in a HOT shed haha. Even though the software had trouble detecting the motherboard model, should I rely on those two independent programs more. Because the fan is running at 6000rpm whilst doing nothing and I don't believe it's at 55c.... I will be installing an extra 120mm fan to get that mobo temp down, but can I please have some advice on which program to rely on and opinions about the reality of 55c with a 6000rpm fan. Cheers. |
