| 1125192 | 2010-08-07 04:39:00 | Ok, So I just got my nice new PS3 eye for the touch screen and I have 200 IR LED's with no specs as to the viewing angle or their brightness/voltage ect (fail) So since most IR led's seem to be about 1-3v I am basing all my calculations on about 1.5v the circuit will be parallel to get a nice even brightness and I plan on using 330 ohm 1% resistors on each diode (thats 20 bulbs and 20 resistors) My question is should I use lots of resistors on each diode or one big resistor on each LED track (one track=10 LED's and there are 2x tacks) also the power supply, is 12v enough? or should I be looking at 24v |
