When you sign up for the Defence Forces you get paid to go wherever the Government of the day sends you. If that means you get in the way of high explosive or a bullet then that's the rub of the day. If NZ were to be invaded I guess you would want our Allies to step in and help would you not? I agree it's probably a useless conflict but that's not the point really. |
