| 1124040 | 2010-08-02 15:58:00 | This is NOT a technical issue - more of a lifestyle or powerful observation on my side of the Equator here . I was messing around with my screen resolution and positions and settings and I see a little device off to the right side of the window - ANY window so it's not just limited to looking at F1 . With the screen normally set and filling the screen I see an odd thing . (Don't go there!) Along side the pull-down bar on the far right side and about two inches higher than where the clock would be - there's a little display that kinda looks like a bar-code; but this one is alive and moving all the time . It looks like the old raster or sync signals that are usually on the top or bottom of a TV screen - but this is on the side and much smaller . It never gets taller or wider - just some sorta activity inside the bar itself . It rises and falls inside it's own short borders and although it's kinda cute and interesting to watch (imagine doing that under LSD!) - it's kinda like the Martians are watching me - know what I mean? FWIW: I never took LSD . I'd remember that - right? OK - perhaps I take Vicadin now - but I swear I can see sumpthin' going on there! It's kinda waving at me! |

No - it's a very narrow 3/32" wide and about 3/4" high (I don't know what that is in sillymeters) vertical band that has a 'something' that looks like a VU meter activity device . But I don't have one there - I run a gadget or two, but there's nothing active in that area behind the front screen . Take a screenshot, if it doesn't show up, it's a monitor or video card problem . In which case, take a photo, maybe we can figure it out . And just how much of that medicinal herb have you been smokin' for your glaucoma Joe ?? Got the munchies? Nope - just Vicadin and Tramadol - they won't let me have Elavil any more . When I had that prescribed I got to know the color of the little people who live in the wallpaper . 7 out of 8 voices in my head tell me that I shouldn't mess with the little bar-thing in the off-the-right-side of my screen ----- but the other half of the voices tell me I need to know more . |
