Beware of VREELANDS . My mom said they are all black-hearted Dutchmen and can't be trusted . You can always tell a Dutchman - but not very much .

If they don't sell used cars in pinchback suits, they are prolly in the Dutch mafia . Don't ask .

No and I don't intend to be either

'Busted' here is a very minor offense and not usually a felony . More like getting caught playing hookey or a ticket for jaywalking .

Playing a ukulele on a beach would not be a hangin' offense - at least I hope not .

It might be a hanging offence in Hawaii if you were playing badly.... :)

1125563 2010-08-08 23:43:00 I was pretty good in those days on one. SurferJoe46 (51)
1125564 2010-08-10 03:02:00 A group of friends and I were caught with a couple of bottles of vodka in Chaffers park when I was 14. We were told that they would ring in a couple of days and that if we hadn't told our parents by that time then it would be referred to the youth justice team.

Needless to say the call never came.

I was terrified of telling my dad, who I was sure would completely freak. When I did all I got was "Vodka's a womans drink". I thought I was dreaming... Mum, who I was sure would be fine about it absolutely freaked out. She screamed at me for about half an hour.

Have had a few pretty harmless detours of the straight and narrow since then. Call them fishtails. Pretty boringly narrow now though.
