1124564 2010-08-04 23:13:00 well just fyi, about 30-40 days ago, Telecom was about $1.78. It is now $2.01. That is equivalent to 117% p.a.

One of my friends in canada a few years ago saw that all his relatives that christmas were moaning and complaining about the high oil prices. So he bought shares in two oil companies and did pretty well.

Solutions and opportunities are everywhere people! its not all doom and gloom :)

1124565 2010-08-05 01:46:00 This is to Vodofone and Telecom.

You have been ripping us off for years.

Now you are gonna be regulated like in every other country in the world other than Mexico.

The termination rates that we pay that you swap to each other are going to come down. They have been amongst the highest in the world.

You were told several years ago by the Commerce Commission to drop them. You said you would do as you could over the next ten years! But you dropped them by 1 cent.

Now you have 2degrees to look out for.

You brought it on yourselves.

This is to Digby.

You have been doing it wrong for years.

Now you are gonna be told like every poster on this board other than than Metla.

The rate at which you make grammatical errors is going to come down. They have been amongst the highest in the world.

You were told several years ago by the me to drop them. You said you would do as you could over the next ten years! But you have still failed to learn the difference between "you're" and "your".

Now you have WalOne to look out for.

You brought it on yourself.

1124570 2010-08-07 10:49:00 Sorry, who are you?

I was really wasted on Wednesday night (and I mean totally off my rocker). Hadn't really worn off some Thursday afternoon.

In other words, I was hungover, while still drunk, and a few other things.

Read from this what you want.

1124572 2010-08-07 12:49:00 Telecom appears to exist for the many layers of executives - they are pretty open minded about whether they rip off the shareholders or the customers, or preferably both. I suppose they are equally generous to their suppliers, but the lower echelon staff are the real victims.

Perhaps if they outsourced the management to Bangladesh (or Nigeria), things would improve?
