1125380 2010-08-27 10:19:00 Here's a song which i've know all my life. i know every tiny little detail off by heart. This is the only version i like. The Live Versions are to low pitched and do not do justice, so here is the original studio recording, and probably one of the last good songs to make use of Stereo Sound:

Are You Gonna Go My Way? (www.youtube.com): Lenny Kravitz (1993)

1125384 2010-08-27 12:48:00 I've heard the Tokens one too much. I much prefer the Karl Denver Trio version, it just sounds more fresh and more soulful to me goodiesguy (15316)

1125387 2010-08-28 15:24:00 I'm just listen to Aqualung this morning by Jethro Tull . Here is something for Goody try the Barron knights or maybe Chas & Dave

I had to play Aqualung the other night - somebody yelled it out from the audience and we were on it like stink . The bass line is pretty good and it felt gfood to play it again .

Actually Jethro Tull was a very convoluted musical group and Jethro was not the name of the guy on the flute either .

Did anyone know that Tony Iommi (Earth, nee: Black Sabbath) was in Jethro Tull for a while?

1125388 2010-08-28 15:52:00 Talking of Tiny Tim, here is a musical quiz . . . .

If this is not Tiny Tim singing this Al Dubin & Joe Burke song Tip Toe Through The Tulips ( . box . net/shared/junjf942gd" target="_blank">www . box . net), then who the heck is it ?

The only authenticated ref to that is from the WIKI:

"Tiptoe Through the Tulips" is a popular song originally published in 1926 . The music was written by Joe Burke and the lyrics by Al Dubin .

‘Crooning Troubadour’ Nick Lucas’ recording of "Tip-Toe Through The Tulips" hit the top of the charts in May 1929 . The song he introduced in the 1929 musical talkie Gold Diggers of Broadway held the #1 position for 10 weeks . [1] Other artists charted the song in 1929 including Jean Goldkette (#5); Johnny Marvin (#11); and Roy Fox (#18) .

The song was revived in 1968 by Tiny Tim, and charted at #17 that year . It was also covered by Uke til U Puke, and The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band .

'Can't say I've heard of any of those others though .
