1169879 2011-01-15 16:07:00 Is there a place where TV. episodes can be downloaded legally, at not to great a price. Vince (406)
1169880 2011-01-15 19:29:00 If you want to pay for them iTunes is probably the best and will have the best range. You could try Miro which is completely free and can download and stream TV shows and podcasts legally. However for popular shows e.g The Simpsons they can only be streamed and not downloaded. Also it is American so trying to find the TV we have here can be a hassle. Other wise I would recommend Miro.

BTW: Miro doesn't have everything.

1169882 2011-01-15 21:51:00 In NZ, the cost to you in bandwidth alone is too high a price for TV.

The is the NZ TV on demand stuff - but it is only for vile NZ made dross. I checked it out once and was almost sick at the bile they were serving.

1169883 2011-01-15 23:02:00 In NZ your only options for legal TV programs are iTunes, TVNZ Ondemand, and Caspa (with a Tivo).

A less legal method, is overseas proxying (US proxy server etc) - It counts as falsifying information.

And lastly torrenting etc. But with the lack of legal options, they wonder why people pirate...

1169884 2011-01-16 01:10:00 I only want to get 2 episodes of "Dr. Who" that I missed when I was in the hospital.
I have the last 5 series, except for these, so bandwidth is not a problem.
