| 1124306 | 2010-08-03 10:06:00 | I know Trademe obviously has most of the market for 2nd hand goods, but has anyone used Sella much? Any tips/thoughts/whatever on Sella would be appreciated (buying and selling stuff) |

Any tips/thoughts/whatever on Sella would be appreciated (buying and selling stuff) FREE: MOTOR AND MARINE. NO SUCESS FEES. otherwise most of the same rules and principles apply. support it and give it time. its markett share is growing. The TradeMe scam site however, has had a worse year on year through put sucess in most cats. some motor and marine scam site listing are nearly 2 years old. |

| 1124310 | 2010-08-04 01:34:00 | Stuff sells much faster and for better prices on TradeMe. 4 identical listings for N-Wireless network cards. 2 on TradeMe 2 on Sella All for 48 hours Long story short I started the TradeMe auctions with $40 start / reserve, $45 buy-now. One sold for buy-now within 12 hours, one sold for reserve Lowered both my Sella auction prices to S$35 / BN$40 Not even a single view still Lowered to $30 / $35 Still not a single view Listings have been going on for almost 3 weeks now, still not a single view ... Long story short: The additional exposure on TM more than makes up for the TradeMe "tax" that you pay! |

| 1124314 | 2010-08-04 22:58:00 | Well I don't think any NZ auction site will get within 50 % of trademe's search engine traffic for quite some time... Keyword research use Google's Adword tool shows these monthly local stats for Google searches - Sella: 12,100 (broad search = 22,000) Zillion: 2,400 (Broad search = 4,000) Trademe: 1,500,000 (broad search = 2,240,000) Trade and Exchange: 33,100 (broad search = 40,500) Those are for excat search terms, not "broad", or "phrase" related. Then their are various related terms to Trademe... Trademe co nz - nearly 250,000 Trademe co - 368,000 Trademe cars - 27,000 Even the typo error search term "tradme" has 12,000 searches I'm sure 1000's of NZ's bookmark Trademe as well, and don't really search online anywhere else (but Trademe first) if in a "buying" frame of mind. |
